Created in 2019 by Nicole Daddona for her Los Angeles clothing and accessories line Magic Society, this handbag was made using the face of Judy, a vintage blow up doll Daddona found at a Goodwill Store. The panels and strap are made using vegan leather, and the faces were made using deadstock vintage blow up dolls.
Equal parts humorous, functional, and thought provoking, this bag represents the evolving views on human sexuality in popular culture. What would have once been seen as a sexually charged item in mid 20th century America has now been repurposed into a trendy, sustainable fashion accessory.
